Report: PGNiG expects Stockholm crt decision on Gazprom case by Dec
WARSAW, Aug 31 (PRIME) -- Poland’s PGNiG expects that the Stockholm arbitration court will make a ruling in gas price litigation with Russian gas giant Gazprom no later than in November, CEO Piotr Wozniak told news outlet wPolsce in an interview released on Thursday.
“A decision of the arbitration court on this case is expected in November of this year. This date already cannot be postponed,” Wozniak said. “A final hearing of the sides will take place next week in Vienna.”
In November 2014, PGNiG said it applied to Gazprom and Gazprom Export with a request to revise the gas price stipulated by a long-term agreement saying the situation on the European energy market had changed much. The price negotiations period ended in May 2015, and PGNiG filed a lawsuit against Gazprom and Gazprom Export over the gas price to the Stockholm arbitration court.
